47th Annual Deltek Clarity A&E Industry Study 

For the last 47 years, Deltek has conducted an annual survey of firms in the Architecture and Engineering industry. The resulting report is one of the world’s most sought-after A&E research findings each year, solidifying Deltek’s position as the leader in industry knowledge. 

The 46th Annual Deltek Clarity Architecture & Engineering Study includes data from a variety of firms of all sizes and North American geographies. In total, 896 companies participated in the 47th Annual Deltek Clarity Study with respondents completing the survey based on 2025 fiscal data.

Megan Miller, Sr. Director, A&E Industry Insights Lead at Deltek, summed it up in her introduction: 

The challenge facing leaders today is not simply finding
and delivering projects. It is the ability to consistently
convert strategy, investment, and activity into results.
Projects are becoming more complex, which is the
result of multiple forces converging at once: rising cost
pressures, more selective clients, tighter labor markets,
accelerating technology adoption and heightened
expectations around delivery discipline. Individually,
these challenges can feel manageable. Collectively,
they signal a shift in how performance is managed and
sustained across the industry.
