Business Development Rep

Full Sail Partners is seeking a Business Development Representative whose primary focus is to nurture existing and prospective clients. 75% of the position is targeting new business and 25% is focused around listening to existing clients' desires and needs then connecting them to the right resource. Candidates should feel comfortable leveraging the phone and email as their main connection tools. The role will grow to include identifying new software sale prospects through market research, phone calls, networking and email campaigns in order to increase interest and qualify new leads for the Sales team. They will gain a keen understanding of Full Sail Partners' product offerings and be able to communicate our value to the professional services industry. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with assigned accounts to understand their business and technology needs.
  • Document all activities in the CRM.
  • Support sales team by gathering business intelligence on assigned accounts and qualifying prospects to sustain a pipeline.
  • Work with marketing in the creation, execution and management of lead generation marketing campaigns.
  • Engage with supervisor and mentors for frequent feedback toward continuous improvement.
  • Participate in social media marketing efforts and utilizing targeted messaging.
  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and developments that affect target markets.
  • Adhere to marketing and sales processes and training guideline.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Excellent presentation skills, verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills required.
  • Strong Internet research skills preferable.
  • Exceptional customer service and personable phone skills required.
  • Ability to learn quickly, work well under pressure and ability to handle fast-paced client requests and at times difficult conversations.
  • Solution oriented and proactive.
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail.
  • Willingness to work outside of one's comfort area.
  • High integrity and impeccable business ethics.
  • An “athlete” mentality which thrives on positive competition, constant training and learning and an ability to candidly assess personal performance and provide mentoring and coaching to peers to maximize performance of the team.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Position Details

  • Work from home, as the entire company is a virtual environment.

  • Candidates should be self-motivated, disciplined and able to report on key metrics related to performance.

  • Position requires a quiet dedicated space for a home office.

  • Although a remote position, preferred locations include Atlanta, Charlotte, Denver, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, San Francisco, San Diego, and Tampa.

  • Position is full-time with benefits including health insurance, PTO and paid holidays.

  • Compensation is commensurate with experience and a portion of the salary is success base.
