The Blackbox Connector is production-ready for Deltek Vision and Deltek Vantagepoint. However, since Ajera includes API endpoints for employee data, similar functionality is absolutely possible.

Q: How do you manage real-time employee data in Paylocity?

A: The Blackbox Connector’s got it handled.

Paylocity’s webhooks don’t catch every change, so our Connector treats them as “change alerts.” When triggered, it immediately fetches the full, authoritative employee record via API. This ensures your data is always accurate — even for fields not included in the webhook.

You can also configure on-demand or scheduled syncs, so your HR and Deltek data are always in lockstep.

Q: Can PTO balances live in the HRIS and still flow into Vantagepoint?

A: Absolutely.

The Blackbox Connector automatically pulls PTO balances from your HRIS and updates them in Deltek Vantagepoint for each employee. That means team members can still request PTO in Vantagepoint, and those requests will show up accurately in resource planning.

APIs are our first choice, but when they’re not available, we can securely process delimited data files (like CSVs) from SFTP sites. Everything runs on our in-house iPaaS for full control and peace of mind.
